Hello John,

I agree with David that you can only install Google Analytics’ code ifyou’re hosting your own WordPress site.

You may use the google-analytics-for-wordpress.4.0.9 plugin and for a step-by-step process you may visit this good resource site: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-google-analytics-in-wordpress/

Hi John,
Thanks for the feedback. If you are referring to a site that’s hosted with WordPress – unfortunately I don’t believe you can, as you can’t install any plugins or edit the theme manually.

If you are hosting your own WordPress site, then you can use easy plugins like Google Analyticator. Hope that helps!
